Our Mission

The purpose of the society shall be to promote an increased interest in all types of iris and the iris in general in the Bluegrass area and to encourage and foster the culture and improvement of the iris, and to promote the interest of the youth in our area, the region and the American Iris Society (AIS).

American Iris Society

BGIS is part of the American Iris Society (AIS). Members of BGIS are encouraged to establish membership in AIS as well.

AIS individual dues for one year are $30. You can join online by clicking here.
