Eagerly anticipated each year, the Bluegrass Iris Society will hold its annual Rhizome Sale on July 29th from 10am to 2pm. It takes place in the lower level of Lexington Green Mall. Click here for a schedule of rules to show your irises.

For just $4 each, you can buy top-quality irises to plant in your garden or to share with friends and family. Members of our Society will be on hand to answer your questions about how to plant, grow and care for your plants.

We'll have pictures of many of the plants available, in case you're looking for something specific. You'll be guaranteed to come away with plants that will thrill you (and your neighbors) for years to come.

Members-Only Sale August 3

When you join BGIS (only $4/yr!), you also have access to our Private Rhizome Sale. Club members get the opportunity to buy the latest and greatest modern irises at only 1/3 of the catalog price – a great way to add to your collection!

This year's Members-Only Sale will take place on August 3rd at the Eastside Branch of the Lexington Public Library. (Click here for directions.)

Regular Meetings

Our meetings happen bi-monthly on the third Thursday of the month, usually at the Beaumont Public Library or Tates Creek Public Library in Lexington. Our schedule changes, though, so check back here for updated information – or join our email list on the home page.
